a brief introdction:
IEC61032 Joined Finger Test Probe
This is the ONLY Finger Probe available with a integral jack in the handle for continuity testing - as mandated by the IECEE CB Scheme.
Details description:
IEC61032 Joined Finger Test Probe
Product Details
The "international" test finger is required by most IEC, EN, CSA standards and UL standards. The Jointed Finger Probe is a high-precision probe in accordance with IEC standards such as IEC 60950, IEC 61010 and is also used for CSA and UL standards. It features a arm simulator to prevent misuse, and restricted joint movement which simulates human finger movement. The finger is made of chrome-plated steel and the rest material of the probe is Delrin.
This is the ONLY Finger Probe available with a integral jack in the handle for continuity testing - as mandated by the IECEE CB Scheme.
Parameters:
Material: metal, except where otherwise specified.
Tolerance on dimensions when no specific tolerance is given:
– on angles: 0
−10°
– on linear dimensions: up to 25 mm: 0
− 0,05 mm; over 25 mm: ± 0,2 mm.
Attention:
Both joints shall permit movement in the same plane and the same direction through an angle of 90° with a 0° to +10° tolerance.
Purpose:
This probe is intended to verify the basic protection against access to hazardous parts. It is also used to verify the protection against access with a finger.
Conforms to:
IEC60065, IEC60335-1, IEC60529, IEC60884, IEC60950, IEC61032, IEC60745-1, IEC61032
