Equipment Overview

Use Environment:

Use place: there should be equipped with lighting and waterproof leakage switch (or socket), the ground needs to be flat, and the water intake and drainage function should be good.

Water source: clean water or tap water without impurities, equipped with water cleaning filter.

Samples and Restrictions: Self-ballasted lamps and lamp adapters

Structure: The device consists of a 3 UL spray heads, 3 pressure gauges, 3 control valves and a water supply pipe rack.

Application: 

To verify the protective performance of the enclosure for self-ballasted lamps and lamp adapters under UL water spray environment.

Principle: Applying spray test to test sample by controlling the water supply pressure and the distance between the nozzle and sample.

Spray Heads	3 pieces (or 4 pieces optional, with one lower nozzle), manufactured according to UL 60507-ENGL 1999 figure 38.1 and 38.2, UL 1993 figure 24.1,etc.
Spray Heads Positions	The positions of spray heads can be adjusted up or down through the water spray pipe rack, the spacing is made according to UL 60507-ENGL 1999 figure 38.1 and 38.2, UL 1993 figure 24.1,etc.
Lower Nozzle Angle (Optional)	45° up
Water Pressure	At each head at approximately 34.5Kpa (5 psi), each spray head has a corresponding press gauge, total water flow pressure is 50-150Kpa
Distance between the center Nozzle and the Device	Approximately 1.4m (55 inches)
