Product Description

The heat resistance compression test apparatus meets the requirements of IEC 60884-1 2013 clause 24.19, 25.4 and figure 38. It is used for compression test for the verification of resistance to heat for shrouds of portable socket-outlet, accessories for electrical appliances and surface mounting box.

1 min, test at an temperature of (25 ± 5) °C - for shrouds of portable socket-outlets –;
1 hour, test at an temperature of (80 ± 2) °C - for accessories for electrical appliances and surface mounting box.

Conforms to standard IEC 60884-1 2013 clause 24.19, 25.4 and figure 38

 

Equipment characteristics:

The apparatus comprises two steel jaws, having a cylinderical face of mm raduis, a width of mm and a length of mm. The length of mm can be increased, depending on the size of the accessory to be tested. The corners are rounded with a raduis of 2.5 mm.
