a brief introdction:
IEC 60335-1 IPX1/IPX2 Vertical Rain Drip Test System For Test Water Ingress Protection
Details description:
Product Information:
This test device is to verify Protection against Vertically Falling Water Drops. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with the standard requirement of IEC60529 IPX1 and IPX2, IEC60335-1 clause 15.etc.

The rise and fall of the drip box is controlled by the motor. The electrical control cabinet is with PLC and touch screen.

1. Stainless steel fine filter for dirt filtration.

2. Adopts compressed air (compressed air should be prepared by user) to blow out the water in the needles, to prevent water reactive substances and atmospheric blocking needles.

3. Stainless steel general medical needle nozzles, easy to buy, not easy to rust.

4. Needle nozzles and needle nozzle seats using taper connection, can be easily replaced without the tool, individual damage to the needle nozzle can be easily replaced quickly.

Features:
The IPX12 vertical rain drip test system is a specialized apparatus used to evaluate the water ingress protection of electronic devices or enclosures against vertically falling water drops. The IPX1 and IPX2 ratings are part of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard 60529, which classifies and rates the degree of protection provided by enclosures against the ingress of solid objects and liquids. IPX1 and IPX2 specifically address the device's ability to withstand dripping water. Here are the key features and functions typically associated with an IPX12 vertical rain drip test system:

Test Chamber: The test system includes a test chamber or enclosure in which the device or enclosure being tested is placed. The chamber is designed to simulate the conditions of vertically falling water drops during the test.

Water Delivery System: The system incorporates a water delivery system that generates and controls the flow of water drops onto the test specimen. This system typically includes a nozzle or set of nozzles positioned above the test specimen to ensure uniform distribution of water drops.

Water Flow Control: The system allows for precise control of the water flow rate and intensity of the water drops. This control allows testing according to the specific requirements of the IPX1 or IPX2 rating.

Test Duration Control: The test system provides control over the duration of the test. The test duration is typically specified in the relevant standards or testing protocols, and the system allows for precise timing and automation of the test process.

Water Recycling System: To conserve water and maintain a sustainable testing process, some systems may include a water recycling system. This system collects and filters the water used during testing for reuse, reducing water consumption.

Observation and Measurement: The test system typically includes observation windows or access ports to allow for visual inspection of the test specimen during and after the test. Additionally, some systems may incorporate measurement devices to assess the water ingress and measure any water that may have entered the test specimen.

Compliance with Standards: The IPX1~2 vertical rain drip test system is designed to comply with the relevant standards, such as IEC 60529. Compliance ensures that the testing process is conducted according to established guidelines and provides reliable and comparable results.

The IPX1~2 vertical rain drip test system is commonly used in industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, lighting, and outdoor equipment manufacturing. It allows manufacturers to assess the water resistance and protection of their products against dripping water, ensuring that they meet the required standards and can withstand exposure to water droplets without compromising functionality or safety.
